Minor in Applied Statistics

The student prepares the statistics minor with the help of an advisor, who is a member of the statistics program faculty. The advisor ensures that the student’s selection of courses minimizes overlap. Before the student enrolls in courses for the minor, the program is submitted for approval to the program director, who consults a committee of program faculty before making a final decision.

REQUIREMENTS

To complete this minor, students take at least 18 credits from the distribution below. Courses are selected in consultation with a member of the Program Committee. With permission from the Program Committee, students receive credits toward the minor for other courses that have sufficient statistics content.
