Disciplinary minors and minors in other schools and colleges are described on the "Minors" page. Below are interdisciplinary minors within the College of Arts and Sciences and between the College of Arts and Sciences and other schools and colleges.
When courses from outside The College of Arts and Sciences are taken to fulfill requirements of a minor, they may not be used to satisfy the 96-hour rule unless the courses are cross-listed with arts and sciences courses.
Minors are not required; that is, they do not satisfy graduation requirements. They are taken in addition to a major. Each minor is administered by a special committee or a director, who should be consulted for admission into either type of program.
